Headaches are as common as a bad day at the office. The expansion of blood vessels and tightening of muscles in the head causes headache pain. This pain may be generalized (all over) or localized (in one area) and may range from mild to severe. Some headaches have a known cause, while others, like migraine headaches, do not.

Water to Cool Your Head
Because dehydration is a common cause of headaches, you should follow the "8 x 8" rule. That means drinking eight 8-ounce glasses of water per day. It's best to stick to water, as other fluids could contain ingredients that trigger headaches.
